Presence is where you can see the status of all users and phones in your PBX. It allows users in your organization to see if colleagues or devices are ‘busy’ or if they have set ‘Do not disturb’  and therefore cannot take a call right now.

The presence is shown in status badges and each status badge has a text label and an easily recognisable color to indicate the various states. These states are:

  • available: the user is available for communication.
  • ringing: the user is receiving a call.
  • talking: user is communicating right now.
  • do not disturb: user does not wish to be disturbed.
  • unreachable: no connection.

You can right click on each entry in the user interface to see its relevant phone book entry. Additionally, you can also use the quick dial function to initiate a phone call to it.

It is possible to show a small version of Presence on the side, by clicking the User-icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen and then Presence. 1mysettings-presence
