Call events are generated by actions relating to calls and are done on the caller’s telephony devices. For example, when a phone rings, an incoming call event is generated.
Call events are emitted for selected calls – this is configured through the ‘API events’ dial plan action. You can set this rule in your dial plan wherever you want to trigger it. You can also set this rule in Routines or IVR’s.
